Maninee out; Smita signed for Ravi Ojha's next on Life OK

We have been keeping our readers updated with Ravi Ojha’s upcoming horror comedy show on Life OK and now, we are back again with some more information about the same.

After Rakesh Bedi, it’s time for another replacement in the venture.

Earlier we reported about Maninee Mishra being an integral part of the project but now, we hear that the lady is no more a part of the series.

And who is set to step into her shoes…let’s find out…

Well, it is none other than Balika Vadhu famed Smita Bansal. As per our source, in all probabilities Smita has been locked in by the makers to essay the role of the mother in the ghost family.

While Smita remained unavailable for a comment, Maninee confirmed the development and stated, “Yes I have backed out from the project. Though I wanted to work with Ravi Ojha Productions, but things did not work out properly. May be later on, I will work with them and I wish the entire team and Smita all the best for this upcoming venture.”

Readers this is not the end, we have some more info for you.

Tentatively titled as Hum Saath Saath Hain, the drama is now being called as Zindegi Abhi Baaki Hai Mere Ghost.

Set in the backdrop of Goa, the show is a sitcom with a twist of comic horror in it. The horror drama will be about a poor young fisherman, the protagonist (Dhruv Raj Sharma), who will end up staying in a haunted house befriending some ghosts.

The show will start airing by end of August.
