Actor Dushyant Singh who has portrayed negative roles in Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year and The Buddy Project is now looking for an image makeover, and wants to pick up a good and challenging positive character on TV soon.
Well, acting has been in his blood even from childhood, is what he claims.
In his school slam book, Dushyant had mentioned at that tender age that he will either get into military forces or be an actor.
Laughing over it today, Dushyant told us, “Yes, my mother did not allow me to get into the army. So from my 9th standard, I have been hell bent on becoming an actor (smiles). The journey has just started for me as an actor, and there is a long way to go. After doing few negative roles, I am now concentrating on appearing positive on screen. My recent episodic outings in CID, Shapath, Tujhse Naaraz Nahi Zindagi have been out and out positive roles.”
Having said this, Dushyant feels he will be very good in a villain’s role. “True that I want an image makeover, but my dream role is something similar to Karanvir Bohra’s role in the Life OK show, Saubhagyavati Bhava. Considering my capabilities, I think I can do a great job being the obsessive lover.”
Dushyant who has a good exposure at the theatre level is also a second degree black belt in martial arts. “I love to keep myself busy in some way or the other. When I am not acting, I prefer to do theatre. I am also learning parkour now. In fact, in few of the episodics that have gone on air, I have done my own stunts.”
