SAB TV is all set to launch a new reality series Comedy Superstar to bring on stage the best of stand up comedians from this month.
Produced by Pyramid Productions, Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen, hunk Sonu Sood and king of laughter Shekhar Suman will be seen donning the role of the judges. Jay Soni and Sudeepa Singh will feature as the hosts.
And now even before the show can be rolled out, the makers have already decided to launch another season by next year to continue the fun.
Shared a source, “The makers are really confident about the show and have already have a season 2 planned. In most probability the judges will return back to keep the brand of the product going.”
When we spoke to Producer Arun Sheshkumar he confirmed the news and said, “Yes, we are planning to come with a season 2 next year. Although we are keen to have the same judges on board, we will finalise their dates soon. Our production house believes in making interesting reality shows and we are successfully working on getting some really exciting projects on board.”
