Vaishali Takkar, the best buddy of Naksh (Rohan Mehra) in Star Plus’ long-running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut Productions) is all set to quit the show.
Yes, you heard it right!! Vaishali who plays the role of Sanju, was to enter the show as Naksh’s best friend, and go on to have a love track with him. However, there have been few creative changes that have left the character in the dark, is what we hear.
Vaishali has now put down her papers, in her quest to look for something new. She is presently serving her notice period, and will continue to shoot for one more month.
When contacted, Vaishali confirmed the news saying, “Yes, it is true that I am quitting the show. I have been part of it for a good eight months now, and it is time to move on. I am looking for new projects. My main goal is to do movies, but I am now eyeing a main lead role in a TV show.”
As per our sources, the track of Sanju will be brought to an end. And there will soon be a new girl entering in the life of Naksh.
