Vijay G Badllani turns 'Parashuram' for the poetic play, Rashmi Rathi

Vijay G Badllani

Vijay G Badllani, our very own ‘Naaradji’ of SAB TV’s Yam Hai Hum is ‘ecstatic’ and looks forward to perform to a packed crowd for his poetic play, Rashmi Rathi, written by Ramdhari Singh Dinkar.

The poetic play in pure Sanskrit will narrate the story of Karna through the epic battle and beyond.

Vijay will play the role of Parashuram, Guru to Karna who would have taught him martial arts of that era.

When contacted, Vijay told us, “Yes, the energy level is high as we are all set to stage our show in various cities. The USP of the play will be that it will be in poetic form with all the emotions intact. I have a fight sequence with Karna, wherein Parashuram will be shown imparting martial art skills to Karna.”

Talking about the shows they will have in the coming week, Vijay said, “We will be staging it in Sathy College, Mumbai on 17 September. We then have it in Delhi on 20 September, followed by shows in Banaras on 24th and Patna on 26th.”

Well, here’s wishing Vijay all the very best!!
