It’s heart-breaking to see young, ambitious and talented people taking the extreme step of suicide. When Jim Carrey’s on-off girlfriend, Cathorina White, allegedly committed suicide at her LA residence on September 29, it created quite a rage on social networking sites and Hollywood circles.
The Irish beauty, who had moved to the states to become a makeup artist, has worked on many high-profile shoots. She met her famous boyfriend in 2012, but split up within a year.
In 2015, the duo got back together and were caught holding hands. Carolina, 28, was born and raised in Ireland and was rather fond of her roots, which is visible in her Tweets and Instagram feeds.
She was also fond of animals, nature, and her extended family, who were often tagged on her Insta pages. Carrey, shocked at the turns of events, described his partner as a ‘truly delicate Irish flower’.
The makeup artist had tweeted about her apparent suicide on September 24. She wrote, “Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest.”
