It’s been more than two years since she made an appearance on TV!! But even today, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal is avidly known as the ‘original’ Roshan of SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Well, it is time now to see the talented lady in an all new avatar as she gears up to make a comeback to TV.
Yes, Jennifer will be seen in a pivotal role in Balaji Telefilms’ upcoming show, Naagin on Colors.
As we know, Jennifer had quit the popular SAB TV show, in order to welcome motherhood. Now, a proud mother to a cute little baby girl, Jennifer we hear, is with her entire family (personally funding for them) in Bikaner, so that her daughter is taken good care of, when she is out for shoot.
As per credible sources, “She will play a Punjabi lady, full of life. The lady will be a fitness freak, and would be seen talking about how exercise can make one have a good physique. She will play the mother of the girl to whom the male protagonist Arjun Bijlani will get engaged to. Actress Pooja Sharma is believed to play her daughter.”
When contacted, Jennifer confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I am back to TV after Taarak Mehta. I had to come back, as my daughter is now 2 years old. I have been preparing myself for this major return to TV.”
We hear that Jennifer took to a lot of gym activities, dance and diet in order to shed the post pregnancy weight gain. The result of all the hard work is that she has successfully managed to lose around 17 kgs, and is in fact 5 kg less than her pre-pregnancy weight.
Way to go, girl!! Welcome back….
