Yes, the veteran actor will now enter Director’s Kut Productions’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the long-running show on Star Plus.

Alok Nath will play the role of the new girl Tara’s (Umang Jain) grandfather, who would be a staunch Marwari, living a very principled life.
As per reliable sources, his character will be of a person who would enforce his rules and regulations on all in his family. The man would never believe in giving any kind of independence to the women in his household. He would also be totally against love marriage. And now that his granddaughter Tara would have finished studies, he will want her to get married immediately.
