Is Ekta Kapoor celebrating Karwa Chauth?

Ekta Kapoor

When it comes to powerful woman in the country, a name that rocks every list is the supremely talented Ekta Kapoor.

Known to be the czarina of TV with her success story of changing the world of fiction television.

And a very pivotal part in Ekta's show are definitely the celebrations. The self acclaimed religious lady, makes it an effort to include a grand function for all festivals in her dailies.

Today, as the world celebrates Karwa Chauth, we met Ekta who seemed all geared up to enjoy the same.

When we caught up with the producer at the launch of Sony TV's Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do, we were surprised to see her palms decorated with mehndi.

As viewers would know, as part of the ritual, women ornate themselves with mehndi as a mark for their love towards their husband/partner.

Ekta who refrains from talking much to the media was quizzed by Tellychakkar if the mehndi was for karwa chauth.

In her inimitable style, the producer had a glance on the mehndi, and rushed out mentioning that the she did put mehndi, but she wouldn't be answering any personal questions.

Ahem ahem we take that Ekta!

But we are still left wondering if the mehndi actually symbolised her karwa chauth fast. And if yes, then for whom?

Have a thought about it readers!
