Diwali is one of the largest and brightest festivals in India. People celebrate it with great enthusiasm and actors are no different. Despite their tight schedules, they make sure to worship the deity with full devotion, burn fire crackers and enjoy the day to the fullest.
Tellychakkar.com contacted popular actor Rahul Banerjee, who is currently essaying the lead role in Star Jalsha’s Tumi Asbe Bole, to know about his grand Diwali plans.
“I haven’t planned much. I will keep a fast, offer anjali to the deity, gorge on the bhog (special dish offered to the Goddess), burn fire crackers and enjoy booze,” shared the actor about his plans.
Booze???
The actor has earlier shared with us that his beautiful actress wife Priyanka keeps a tab that he does not indulge in too much of drinking. So, we wanted to know if this is a Diwali discount that he will be getting, to which the actor nodded in the positive.
And what about his wifey’s plan?
“She usually purchases gold jewelleries on dhanteras,” said her hubby dear.
Isn’t the couple planning to gift something special to each other? The actor quipped, “No gifts as such.”
When true love is there, do we need to take the materialistic route to prove our feelings? And we are sure this lovey-dovey couple too believes in this saying.
