Mohsin Khan talks about his ‘exit’ from Dream Girl

Recently, we reported about Nikita Dutta bidding adieu to her show Dream Girl (Shashi Sumeet Productions). Before this, even the male lead of the Life OK’s daily, Mohsin Khan’s, character came to an abrupt end, which disappointed many of his fans. Post his exit from the drama, we spoke to the young man, who was earlier part of Nisha Aur Uski Cousins as well. Eager to learn about his part of the story, we buzzed the young lad. Mohsin shared, “Though many might be wondering why my track came to an end in the series, I was aware about the same throughout. Hence, the news did not serve as a shocking or surprising one for me. On the other hand, when I was narrated the script for the first time, the story ended with Lakshmi and Samar’s wedding”. “In a way I was given the chance of doing everything that I was promised by the makers. But, yes, with the story moving forward, I expected that a bit more about Lakshmi and Samar’s conjugal life will be shown. But, whatever happened I am absolutely fine with it. Neither I have any regrets nor any complaints. I am open to working with same production house again if given a chance”, added the actor. So how was your journey? Mohsin quipped, “Well for me, Dream Girl was a wonderful journey. Samar’s transformation in the show was also my evolution as an actor. When my character became a drug addict, I decided to sleep for only three hours a day, to develop the typical look”. We quizzed him about his future plans and Mohsin replied, “I am looking forward to new projects. But, I am sure about the fact that I will never take up offers for saas-bahu dramas, as that is not my cup of tea. I will definitely try to involve myself into ventures with unique concepts”. Well Mohsin we wish you all the luck for that. Have a great life ahead.
