It was sad to be ousted from Karn: Aditya Redij

One of the hardworking and dedicated actors of television industry, Aditya Redij, who has proved his acting prowess with Na Aana Is Des Laado and Bandhan, was all set to make his comeback with Sony TV’s Suryaputra Karn.

The actor was the first choice to play the titular role, but the makers roped in Gautam Rode instead.

Being sad about the entire incident, he shared, “I was shocked and frustrated when I was told that I was not playing Karn anymore. The decision was taken at the very last moment by the makers. I was waiting for this role to happen for the past five months now.”

When asked if he was sad to not to be a part of the show, he answered, “Obviously it feels sad. I had lost weight to prepare for the character. I even invested my time and energy to play the role of Karn. But life is uncertain and things can change at any moment. However, in such situations… one need to be strong and look forward to the best.”
