TV today has come up with umpteen concepts entertaining the young blood. And now, we take a look at the best youth shows of the year 2015 in our Year-Ender feature, as we welcome the year 2016.
The shows have been arranged in alphabetical order.
Gumrah:
End of Innocence (Channel V) - This crime television series, produced by Balaji Telefilms has been on for many seasons now. With five seasons of it already on air, the show has created a mark and has showcased crime related incidents committed by youngsters in a realistic way.
Kaisi Ye Yaariaan (MTV):
The stupendous success of Season one gave way for the Season 2 which was again well-appreciated by the youngsters. Their ardent love for Parth Samthaan was quite evident as their sheer love brought him back on the show in the new season. The show which was based on the virtue of friendship has had a good run.
Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (Zing):
This Lost Boy Productions show showcased engrossing and untold love stories of youngsters. With interesting and heart-wrenching concepts introduced in every season, this series narrating episodic love tales has been a hit with the youngsters.
Sadda Haq (Channel V):
This Beyond Dreams show has had a magnificent run, and has been the top-runner show in the youth genre of work. This has been the show which followed the journey of a girl who dreamt of breaking the norm and becoming an engineer, a profession termed to be a man’s profession. The latest news of Sadda Haq gearing up for a Season 2 only shows the unprecedented love it has garnered over the years from the masses.
Swim Team (Channel V):
A unique concept, produced by Endemol India that revolves around a group of youngsters aspiring to make it big as professional swimmers has received phenomenal response and is going strong.
Twist Wala Love (Channel V):
Love stories with a twist happens to be the underlining concept of this series. Interesting stories that run up to five days a week have indeed made a mark with the audience…
Yeh Hai Aashiqui (Bindass):
The classy love tales presented with a difference has been a hit with the youngsters. Going strong for many seasons now, this episodic series has a lot more to offer.
Warrior High (MTV):
This Lost Boy Productions show aimed at the younger audience was an immediate hit with the audience. Viewers are now waiting with bathed breath to watch the Season 2 of the show.
