Ashita to take a break, Rajshri Thakur approached for Bidaai

Rajshri Thakur took a self imposed break after Saat Phere concluded early this year. The show catapulted her to fame and made her a house hold name. As her fans wondered when they would see her return on the small screen we hear that the actress has been approached to play a pivotal role in Sapna babul ka Bidaai. Apart from this development, Ashita Dhawan who plays the character of Malti in the show will go on a break of 15 days. Tips a source, “Rajshri has been approached to play the role of a renowned lawyer in the show. If everything falls in place then Saloni will be back in a complete new and fiery avatar and this cameo would run for approximately a week. Ashita will go on a break starting 15 till the 31 of January for her wedding. She has informed the production house of her plan and now the producer is yet to take a decision as to what treatment would be given to her character during her absence.” When contacted, Rajshri Thakur aka Saloni says, “Yes, I have been approached for the role but nothing is confirmed as yet.” Producer Rajan Shahi too said that things are yet to be finalised. He said, “Rajshri Thakur isn’t confirmed as yet and we are still contemplating on a few names. We expect to come up with a final name in a day or two.” We tried calling Ashita Dhawanand even sent a text message but she remained unavailable for comment.
