A well known face from the glamorous film industry, known for movies like Ishq Vishk, Main Hoon Na and Vivah, Amrita Rao is gearing up for her small screen debut.
The actress, who will soon enthral audiences with &TV’s fiction show Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai, shared that she had a special bond with her sister Preetika Rao.
“It’s a sweet rapport. When I ventured into TV, although I am senior, I have learnt a lot from her because I saw a life of a TV actor from close. And it’s very tough, especially, when she was shooting every single day. I admire her as she did it so beautifully. She tells me that all my films and her one show are equal.”
Is there any competition between you and Preetika? She quipped, “Forget sister, even in the same field... I don’t get into competition.”
How was her reaction when you informed her about your TV debut? “She was very happy. All television actors have a very tough schedule. It was good to get some insights, tips and working schedules from her,” ended Amrita.
