Meer Ali and Hunar Halle's 'off-screen tiff' is a 'blessing' for them; read why...

Meer Ali and Hunar Halle

Actors Meer Ali and Hunar Halle look stunning on screen as a couple in Star Plus’ recently launched show, Dahleez (Fortune Productions and Colosceum Media). However, their love life in the show seems to have taken a beating, with what has been shown till now.

Yes, their characters Jaydev (Meer) and Jaya (Hunar) lead a loveless marital life, just to keep their societal status pure and clean.

Strange are the ways in which television works, and this ‘cold’ on-screen chemistry has apparently rubbed on to the actors’ real lives too, is what we hear.

As per a credible source, “Meer and Hunar have had creative differences from day one of their shoot, and carry forward their own perspectives. While Meer and Hunar share a great camaraderie with everyone else in the cast, the two of them in fact refrain from greeting each other casually on any given day, leave along talking.”

Sad, this!!

But let’s look at the larger picture here....

Another source from the set tells us, “It is sad to see them behaving cold to each other. But this is actually helping them with their roles. Their characters are so unromantic towards each other, that their off-screen tiff has actually helped enhance their differences onscreen. So you might even call this as a method-acting.”

Oh wow, method acting? Interesting, isn’t it?

When contacted, Meer told us, “There is nothing of this sort. Actually this is a blessing in disguise for me as an actor, as I have to be very cold towards Hunar on screen. So this helps me perform better..”

We then contacted Hunar who said, “Well, there may be news flying out as I am someone who keeps to myself. Yes, accepted, I am not the best of friends with my co-star. But I have always been like this, and have my own take on friends and friendship.”

Aha, these answers make us wonder if this difference between Meer and Hunar is indeed a blessing in disguise.. In that case, we simply hope the young Jodi gets to patch up onscreen and go the romantic way.

You never know, this change might bring in the much-needed ‘friendship’ between the two off screen too!! Tsk Tsk...
