I cannot resist good food: Sonali Nikam

Apart from being passionate about acting, Sonali Nikam who essays the role of Jassi on Zindagi’s Aadhe Adhoore is also passionate about food and cooking. The lean actress is a self-confessed foodie and makes no bones about it. As much as Sonali loves to gorge on delectable food, she equally loves to cook for her family and friends. And like her reel character in the show that airs on Zindagi every Monday to Saturday at 9.50 pm, Sonali also makes delicious parathas. This demure actress also has an adventurous side to her and can go to any length to explore her love for food. This long weekend, Sonali drove to Goa with the cast of Aadhe Adhoore to satiate her urge for authentic Goan cuisine. Sonali enjoyed various seafood dishes and traditional desserts on her recent food trip. She reveals, “It was a spontaneous decision to travel to Goa since I was craving for traditional Goan food. We drove all the way to Goa and enjoyed food at couple of local eateries on our way. Goa is the best place to unwind and is a preferred destination for a quick getaway. I am fond of sea food and Goa is one of the best places to relish good sea food.” Sonali loves to cook Punjabi food and her family absolutely enjoys her cooking as she cooks with lot of passion. She also finds cooking very therapeutic and cooks to unwind on weekends. Sonali makes no compromise when it comes to food and eats her heart out without fearing about putting on weight. Talking about her food trails Sonali Nikam said, “I can’t think of anything when I see food. I simply love food and can’t resist good food. I don’t really bother about putting on weight and can eat till I am content. I would prefer working extra in the gym to burn those extra calories but will not kill my desire to enjoy a scrumptious meal.”
