I am totally shocked and I have no words what to say. You cannot blame it to profession when there's something going on it's going on. No one knows what she was feeling and she would commit suicide. I spoke last to her a month back. I still can’t get over it. Right emotional support is important. Life is all about loving your family and friends. One must value the people and stay in touch always. I was at the hospital and the horror of the news of her suicide was on everyone's face. It’s a coincidence that it was 1st April and it was serious reality.

I genuinely don't know what to say. I still feel that let it be an April Fool prank. Having a strong social support system is needed for everyone not just TV actors, it’s a difficult profession to be in so yes for me personally, I definitely need my closest people around me to keep my chin up at all times or I would feel lost.

Last week we had spoken on phone and I just can't believe she is no more. She was a lively person. How can a full of life person kill herself so suddenly? I am numb and speechless. It's really tragic. From the time I have heard the news I just can't get over it. May her soul rest in peace.

I used to know Pratyusha socially. She was always vibrant and positive. I am at a loss of words. We don't lack emotional support we lack non-judgmental friends. Everybody is out there to judge you for right from what you wear to what you do to who you are dating . The stress to live up to the expectations of others or to have a happier or more successful life as compared to others lead to depression. We need to learn to be happy with ourselves, know who we are and believe in that. Let nobody else decide for us...not our work not our relationships not our success not our failures. When something like this happens you tend to look at yourself and ask yourself that why is it that we crib about so many things in life. What is it that we actually want that gives us happiness not only for this one moment but for our entire lifetime. End of a beautiful life before it’s time. I hope she finds peace where she is now.

I am really very sad. I have no reaction. I am blank. I don’t know how to react. We have met during BCL matches she was a friend and a very cheerful and sweet person. Still can’t believe she is no more. Just want to say God bless her soul and God give courage to her family.

I am too shocked since the time I have heard of Pratyusha's suicide. It’s disheartening to know the reality. I feel one must have the right support system. Keeping your emotional self happy is very important.

It’s painful to know that Pratyusha committed suicide. I feel right friends are mandatory. If you have a friend or mentor you are surely in a better position to handle your emotions and have a direction in life. The news surely disturbed everyone and everyone has problems in life. If a thing of yours falls into the well you should try to take it out and not jump into the well to drown yourself.

Pratyusha’s supposed suicide was a realisation to myself..of how important being happy within is. She wasn't a friend but suddenly the thought of not seeing her ever made my heart heavy. It’s a wake-up call for everyone who thinks depression is not fatal....The number of people giving up on life is increasing. What is it that we are hankering for in life? Love? Attention? Money? Pleasure? Well none of these can give one happiness...In this city of dreams...stress latches on to us...we all go through such miserable times when we want to scream out loud & cry..want someone to fill our vacuum within...Ironically very few can actually help themselves in such adverse conditions, fewer come to rescue others. Toxic relationships make it more difficult...The best way would be to dedicate your life for a social cause; making others happy....healing others in a way that your own wounds get healed...time will tell what the truth is...but I believe that justice will be done in case there is some foul play...I offered my prayers to Pratyusha this morning and will keep sending love & light to her family.

She wasn't happy in the relationship since beginning and everyone had an idea about it. Rahul Raj Singh her boyfriend had cut her off from her friends and the world. I am not sure if it's a murder or suicide. She didn't want career but happiness. May her soul rest in peace.

When a person goes through low phase he or she must share it with someone who is near and dear be it your friend, parent or brother or sister as good emotional support and direction is needed by each and every person in the fast paced of life where everyone is chasing something. Everyone has low depressing phase in life at one point of time. If you start disconnecting from people emotionally it is not right. When I heard of Pratyusha’s suicide I thought it to be April Fool joke. She was a strong girl and had achieved success in life in a short time. Heart must be expressed. You just can’t bottle up your thoughts, feelings and emotions as suppressing them leads to complications one fine day. There are lot of friends who are only selfie friends in society and fraternity and that doesn't help. There should be at least one person who is brutally honest who will tell you difference between right and wrong and guide you firmly and who will scold you for the right reasons objectively. One must have someone with whom you can be totally honest personally and professionally and ask for love and guidance freely without any hesitation. People who have the right emotional support and balance always live a happy life.
RIP Pratyusha. #prayforpratyusha
