After Pratyusha’s parents, Rahul Raj Singh’s dad appeals to the Chief Minister

Everyday, the Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case is turning a new page. After Pratyusha’s parents appealed to the Chief Minister to transfer their daughter’s case to the Crime Branch, Rahul’s parents too have taken the same route to protect their son. Rahul’s dad, Harshvardhan Singh on 16 April wrote to the CM stating that Rahul has been traumatised and was in the hospital from 3 April. He further requested the CM to ensure that justice prevails and there is no unnecessary interference or pressure by any anti-social people. He claimed that certain people, who do not know the actual facts are harming his family name and reputation. He expressed that due to all these false allegations, Rahul may take some drastic step. As readers would know, Rahul was discharged late at night on 16 April and gave a media statement the next day. Today (18 April), he has been summoned to the court for a hearing.
