The latest song from Azhar ‘Oye Oye’ will take you back to the late 80s when the original song from Tridev hit the screens and made a splash.
Nargis Fakhri plays Sangeeta Bijlani’s role in Azhar. The foot-tapping remake pays homage to the original by incorporating loud makeup, shiny clothes and blazing backgrounds- a reflection of the 80s.
Nargis and the other girls groove effortlessly and suggestively, while Emraan Hashmi who plays the titular role sits uncomfortably in the audience.
His first wife, played by Prachi Desai, perfectly demonstrates her naivete without going overboard.
The trio’s dynamics is clearly visible in the video. We are also digging the nostalgic feel of the song…ah, good old 80s!

Directed by Tony D’Souza, Azhar is slated for release on May 13, 2016. It stars Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri, and Lara Dutta in the lead.
