Manasi Salvi opens up on her 'divorce' and it's SHOCKING

Manasi Salvi

What’s with the year 2016? Should we officially call it the year of ‘divorce’ and 'breakups’?

This year we came across many shocking news of Bollywood and television couples’ splitting.

After news of Farhan Akhtar, Raghu Ram, Priyadarshan, Arbaaz-Malaika and numerous more, the next couple to call off their relationship is Doli Armaanon Ki actress Manasi Salvi and her husband Hemant.

According to reports, the actress who separated from her husband a year back will get an official divorce next month.

Manasi has an eight year old daughter Omisha with Hemant. The reason behind this divorce is still not clear.

When Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Manasi, she shared, “Yes, the news is true. It’s been a year now that I have moved out from Hemant’s house. We neither share any animosity nor hold any grudges against each other as the decision to get divorced was mutual. I would not like to discuss more about the matter at this point of time. I am staying with my daughter in a separate house. I am not at all demotivated but in a very peaceful state of mind. God has been kind and has given me endurance to stay strong. Sometimes relationships just don’t work out. I am still in touch with Hemant and even now, whenever I need his help, he is there for me. I believe in Karma and being a good soul and thus would never indulge in mudslinging.”

We wondered if she regretted marrying Hemant. Smilingly she said, “Not at all. Marriage is beautiful and everyone should experience it at least once. It did shock me a year back when things were going wrong but now I am completely fine and living a good life. I am an independent woman who wants to concentrate on her career. Trust me, I will bounce back very soon on screens.”

Did her parents support her in the decision? "No parents or grandparents would ever be happy with separations or divorces.”

When we mentioned to Manasi that the report mentioned her dating a film director, she denied the same. "No, it is completely untrue."

With her taking care of your daughter single-handedly, and her dues from previous show still pending, we wondered how she is managing the finance? “I am actually waiting for some miracle to happen. I am not an actor who will call and ask people to clear my dues. I did send a mail to the concerned person but have not received any reply from their end. It’s my hard earned money and I really need it now in my difficult times.”

Manasi may you have the strength to overcome all troubles!
