The pilot shoot of acclaimed writer cum director Deepak Pachory's ambitious project for Star Plus on the life and struggle of Chandrashekar Azad is finally over. The makers have this time submitted their pilot with a lot of conviction, backed with humongous research work on the subject.
Tellychakkar.com had earlier exclusively reported about Shiv Pandit essaying the titular role of Azad.
We now hear that Shiv has completed shoot for the pilot.
We have already reported about Rajesh Sharma playing the father of Azad.
Now we hear of versatile actor Saurabh Dubey making a comeback to TV after Kairee with this show.
As per sources, Sourabh will play the role of Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
When contacted Sourabh told us "Yes I am part of the show. This will be my return to TV after Sasural Genda Phool and Kairee. However the show is in its nascent stage."
Sourabh has been busy with his movie commitments over the last few years.
Here's hoping that we see the team of Azad on our screens soon.
