I don't regret quitting TV: Sneha Kapoor

Sneha Kapoor

She is fit, sexy and an absolute stunner. We are talking about the dancing diva of small screen aka Sneha Kapoor who tasted fame as Sharon on Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance.

The actress broke millions of hearts when she decided to quit the television industry. She is now happily married to TV actor Lavin Gothi and is currently managing her own dance institute.

Sneha got chatty with Tellychakkar.com about her dance institute, life post-marriage, her decision of quitting, comeback and more.

How do you manage your personal life and dance institute?

Initially, it was difficult for me… but gradually, everything fell into place. For a girl, it’s not easy to balance both personal and professional lives. If you can manage time well, you can prioritize better.

Do you regret your decision of quitting TV?

No, I don’t regret it. It was a conscious decision, made after thinking through.

Any plans to make a comeback?

Well, I have no plans as of now, thanks to my dance institute that is doing well. I want it to grow more. For me, acting happened accidently… but dance is something that will remain my entire life.

Are you in touch with your D3 gang?

Yes, very much. We keep chatting on WhatsApp and meet often.

Have you managed to watch D4?

Not that much as I don’t get time to watch TV but my friend Anusua (Choudhary) is doing a good job.

Do you wish to do choreography in the future?

I love teaching. I have done all these before making my debut on Dil Dosti and Dance. I have had my share of challenges and struggles. Now that my institute is doing well, I want to focus on it.

Did you ever feel like giving up on everything?

Never. Luckily, my life has been very steady. I agree that an actor’s life is very uncertain but I never get disheartened. Just try your best and hope for the best.

Life before or after marriage?

I don’t like to discuss my personal life but all I can say is that my husband and both families are very caring. Without their support, I wouldn’t have managed to reach this stage.

Apart from acting and dancing, any other hidden talents you have?

I am zero in other things. I am born to dance.

Good luck, girl!
