Loyal viewers of Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut Productions) have very recently gone through the sorrow of their favourite Karan Mehra aka Naitik bowing out of the show.
Like the saying, ‘The show must go on’, the channel and makers have quickly shifted gears, and have been developing the cute love story of Karthik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi). Also, there has been a parallel track running, that of Yash (Sanchit Sharma) bringing in a firangi (Sippora Zoutewelle) as his beau.
As per the ongoing track, there were tensions in the family with the elders opposing this match. But finally, with all falling in place, the family will soon see some light-hearted moments, and above all, please the new to-be-bahu of the house, that is Rose (Sippora) by indulging in a game of basketball.
Yes, the entire family will gear up for a basketball match, the favourite sport of Rose.
Also, there will be a problem in the Maheshwari family, with Vishambar (Sanjeev Seth) getting ill. With Karthik being his saviour, a good bonding will develop between Vishambar and Karthik and the former will ask him to stay in his house as a family member and not as a paying guest.
To ease out all tensions, the family will take to the ground to play the game.
Our source states, “On the playing ground, Karthik and Naira’s closeness will blossom, with look exchanges happening. Karthik who is already in love with Naira, will sacrifice and allow Naira to win. Karthik will be pleased to see Akshara and the whole family being happy. While the game will facilitate Karthik and Naira’s closeness, Gayu (Kanchi Singh) who will be a silent spectator to their look exchanges, will start to feel the pinch. There will be a moment when Gayu will withdraw herself from the happy ambience set by her family, and will want to be alone.”
How will the Naira – Karthik – Gayu love triangle proceed from here?
We tried calling Kanchi and Shivangi, but could not get through to them.
Also, the show will see a new entry in Yash’s brother. The actor roped in to play the character will be Karan Pahwa of Balika Vadhu fame.
