Bed scene row: Nawaz dismisses Chitrangada's claims

Actress Chitrangada Singh, who walked out of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz citing harassment, recently spoke about her traumatic experiences on the sets.

Now her former co-star from the movie, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has opened about the whole fiasco to a gossip portal.

According to him, the bed scene where director Kushan Nandy wanted Chitrangada to lie on top of Nawaz, did not unfold the way it has been told by the actress, the site added.

“We did a normal scene. There was nothing unacceptable about what we shot. The incident being described did not happen. Kushan is a decent softspoken person. He’s a gentleman, incapable of crass behaviour,” Nawaz told the site.

Kushan also spoke about the row to the site, saying, “Those who know me will know I never use filthy words like she has accused me of using. I don’t know people who use language like that. This is character assassination.”

Babumoshai Bandookbaaz an action-thiller shot in various parts of West Bengal, will now see Richa Chadda taking over from Chirangada, the site stated.
