Now as per the latest update, on CM Mamata Banerjee’s instructions, shooting will begin from today (Thursday).

However, to find a permanent solution of the problem a meeting will be held again in the coming days.

Saila Chatterjee, FCTWEI (Federation of Cine & Workers of Eastern India) Vice President, informed media people, “Ministers Arup Biswas and Indranil Sen will organize a meeting with the producers and FCTWEI members on 19th July where discussions on the issue will be held and efforts to reach a solution will be made.”

As per sources owing to the halt of shooting, the industry faced a loss of around Rs. 1 crore.
