Biswarup Bandyopadhyay, who is currently seen in Colors Bangla's musical love story E Amar Gurudakshina (Subroto Roy Production), says that if he starts singing in real life people would run away.
His character in the above mentioned serial is a singer, whose life revolves around only music and nothing else matters to him much.
When quizzed if he sings in real life too, he said laughing, “I am not a singer like my onscreen character; if I start singing people would probably run away. However, I love listening to music.”
“When I was in school, I used to sing. Slowly over the years, those thing disappeared from my life,” he added.
Praising veteran Tollywood actor Tapas Pal, the young actor said that he is receiving immense help from him.
He quipped, “When I was offered the role I was little nervous whether I will be able to pull it off or not as the film was a massive hit. To understand my character well, I watched the film several times.”
“I have also received support from him ((Tapas). He is very helpful at the set. He guides us on certain things like how to think before enacting a particular scene, how to step into the shoes of another person etc,” he further added.
For the uninitiated, the soap is based on the Bengali film Guru Dakshina. The film saw Tapas enact the role of the protagonist which is now being played by Biswarup. And in the soap, Tapas is enacting the role of Mastermoshai which was played by Kali Banerjee in the film.
Great going, Biswarup!
The actor was earlier seen in the soap Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
