A thorough gentleman and an actor with a good head on his shoulder, the dashing Kunal Karan Kapoor, as per our credible sources, has bagged the role of the protagonist in an upcoming show on Star Plus, produced by 24 Frames.

Here’s more info: “The plot is a love triangle. The core and the surface will be injected with mushy-mushy romantic scenes. Kunal is the choice to play the lead. Casting for other pivotal characters is still on,” as per an industry insider.

Kunal gained popularity of Aonian heights for his striking portrayal of Mohan, the journalist, in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha. His other notable works include strong performances in shows like Left Right Left, Pratigya and Doli Armaanon Ki.

In the personal space, the actor is said to be dating actress Sriti Jha (Kumkum Bhagya).

To get a confirmation on the input, we reached out to Kunal and Producer Bhairavi Raichura, but did not get any response till the time of filing the copy. Channel spokesperson too did not comment on the subject. We will update the space in a jiffy on receiving any further update/s.

It’s indeed good news for avid watchers of television and Star Plus is spearheading the cause of bringing back notable stars to small screen.
