Well-known Bengali film and television personality, Sudip Mukherjee, who is playing the role of Mahishashur for the Mahalaya programme to be shown on Colors Bangla, says that ‘cheaters’ and ‘rapists’ are the asurs of today’s society who need to be demolished completely.
“There are two types of asurs who need to be demolished from our society; one is cheater, who cheats people and the other is rapist, who ruins the life of a person,” he said to Tellychakkar.com when asked to mention the villains of society who should be destroyed.
“These people should be killed so brutally that others dare not to commit such crimes,” he added.
This is not the first time that Sudip is playing an asur.
The actor, who was seen in Bengali flicks like Kantatar and Dark Chocolate and soaps like Kurukhetra and Tumi Ele Tai, quipped, “I have played the role of Mahishashur earlier also. I have also played the role of Ravana.”
“Every time, I try to experiment with my look. My present asur look is quite different from the previous two. The costume I am wearing is very comfortable which will allow me to dance and jump freely. I am wearing not golden but oxidised jewellery. I found my look quite creative and convincing,” he added.
Good luck, Sudip!
