Aleeza Khan excited to play a cop in TV show

Pretty and talented Aleeza Khan, who is all set to be seen on Zee TV's upcoming show Aji Sunte Ho (Shashi Sumeet Productions), has bagged an interesting role in a popular episodic series.

Aleeza will soon be seen on Sony TV's Crime Patrol essaying different shades of a woman- from a daughter, wife to a cop.

We have heart that Aleeza has been roped in for an upcoming UP based story based in Gorakhpur. The story, produced by Purple Canvas Production, has been titled as Vardi. 

When we contacted Aleeza, she confirmed the news with us and said, "I am playing a cop for the first time and I am quite excited about it. Till now people have seen me essay some really strong characters and this will just take the level high. First time in a single episode, audience will get to see all shades of a woman together. I have already started shooting and I feel so blessed."
