Not often do you find an ad that sticks in your mind even after years of being aired. The Oreo ad starring Ranbir Kapoor which showed a sibling bond in the most adorable way was one of those rare ads that made a mark on the audience's mind.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the reason why we remember that ad was because it starred an adorable, young and bubbly Gunjan Malhotra who played Ranbir's sister in the ad.
Originally hailing from Delhi, Gunjan has been in the industry for over five years and has made an impact in almost every aspect of the entertainment industry - from ads to a web series, and from television to Bollywood.
Gunjan is known as the "Jagat-Behen!" mainly because she's played the hero's sister to some of the best actors - Ranbir Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and Arjun Kapoor, and plays the younger sibling in the ongoing web-series by The Timeliners - Aam Aadmi Family.
On being asked how she felt about this, and if she feared being typecast, she said "I'm very content with whatever character I get. I think, the best part of playing a sister is that I get to be myself. I'm very lucky to have gotten the opportunity to share the screen with such amazing actors. When it comes to being typecast, I don't think that's true. In 2015, I did Badmaashiyan where my role was very different. Earlier this year, I was a part of Airlift which gave me an opportunity to play a different role. This year, I was lucky to have been a part of 24 India where my role Zara opened up a completely new arena."
