Life OK is going all out to create a roaring change in terms of its concepts.
Moving away from the women-oriented shows, the new concepts lined up for launch in the New Year on Life OK will have interesting male-oriented plots.
The first show which will be ready for launch will be Saurabh Tewari’s action-packed show Ghulaam. Contiloe’s historical on Raja Ranjit Singh, White Horse International’s revenge thriller are few of them in the pipeline.
Now we have learnt of Jay Mehta and Kinnari Mehta (Jay Productions) having a jungle-based concept in planning for Life OK.
Popular face Megha Gupta and popular Marathi filmstar Gashmeer Mahajani will play the leads in the show. While Gashmeer will essay a jungle officer, his wife played by Megha will be a naturalist. The story will dwell on their personal lives, and how they will be torn between their duties and home.
Joining them will be the elegant child artist Harshita Ojha of Veera fame. She will play the daughter of the couple who will have a major role to play in the story line.
As for Gashmeer, he is the son of famous Marathi actor Ravindra Mahajani. Gashmeer has been part of Marathi movies Carry On Maratha, Deool Band, Kanha and has done the Hindi movie Dongari Ka Raja.
Megha as we know, will be returning to TV post her wedding with Siddhant Karnick with this show.
Harshita popularly known as the little Veera was recently seen in Star Plus’ Tamanna.
When contacted, Megha refused to comment.
We buzzed Gashmeer and Harshita, but they did not revert to our calls.
Our efforts to reach out to Producer Kinnari Mehta and channel were futile.
