Raees trailer is totally paisa wasool

Trailer review of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees
Raees

Kickass dialogues, electric face-offs, and a kohl-sporting Shah Rukh Khan looking as sexy as one can get…what else do you need to make a movie work?

The trailer sets the pace for the crime saga, where SRK aka Raees is constantly at loggerheads with determined cop Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Set in Gujarat, traces the story of a bootlegger’s business acquisitions.

The bearded, bespectacled, and rugged SRK makes a swag entry and looks THE part of a Raees. After a series of candy-bopper films, it’s a welcome change to see him in a different role.

His dialogue delivery, intense glare, and synchronised fights make the trailer a paisa wasool already. When he utters, ‘Baniye Ka Dimag Aur Miyanbhai Ki Daring’, you know that plot is going to be as gripping and interesting as this epic line.

We must say that all the hype surrounding it is worth it. Matching steps with the superstar us Nawaz, who’s hell-bent on arresting and dragging Raees to the police station.

While Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has little to do in the trailer other than woo Raees, we are excited to see how their chemistry unfolds on the big screen.

The background score also is fitting and goes well with the power-packed setting of the movie.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Red Chillies and Excel Entertainment, the flick is slated to release on 24 January, 2017.
