Waseem (Sabir) was special: Anang Desai

Anang Desai shares his thoughts on Waseem Sabir's death
Waseem (Sabir) was special: Anang Desai

What a man! What a heart! Always jovial, positive and hungry to achieve.

Waseem gone to soon. Life is so unpredictable. I worked with him first in a show called India Calling. He came across vibrant and knowledgeable. He was focussed and knew his goals well.

Later, after many years, I worked again with him in Tamanna. Waseem was more evolved by then, had a better grasp on his craft, but still exuded similar passion and vibrancy.

He was humble, a man of heart who made friends easily. Always willing to help, smiling and spreading love.

When I learned about his death, I initially thought it to be a rude joke. When reality set it, I had mixed emotions of anger, helplessness and deep melancholy.

How can life be so harsh at times? No one can fathom the workings of the universe.

I wanted to share my feelings. I am not on social media, hence thought of talking to Tellychakkar.

I am saddened, but Waseem will always stay in our hearts. RIP!
