Star Plus’ popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut) has always dealt precisely and effectively with various interpersonal relationships that make or break a relationship.
Now, viewers will see one such bond getting tested by situations and new developments.
And that will be of Karthik (Mohsin Khan) and that of his father Manish Goenka (Sachin Tyagi).
As we know, Karthik does not respect and adore his father. He also dislikes it when Naira (Shivangi Joshi) talks well to his family members, especially father and mother.
Now, Karthik and his dad’s relationship will face more rough weather amidst the wedding ambience.
As per sources, “The Makar Sankranti episode will act as a precursor for the two of them to get into a major fight.”
The Goenkas will decide to invite Naira’s family to celebrate Makar Sankranti. However, Manish will feel it apt to call only the Singhanias, and will not send out an invite to Akshara’s family, the Maheshwaris.
This will upset Karthik very much, and he will go to the Maheshwaris with an apology and bring them for the occasion.
Later, Naira (Shivangi Joshi) will pair up with Manish Goenka and help him win the kite flying competition, which will further irk Karthik.
Will the differences between Karthik and Manish create a huge rift between them?
