Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum will soon return with season 2!
This Shashi Sumeet Productions’ venture will have a new star cast with a different storyline.
Tellychakkar.com has already reported about Avinesh Rekhi and Rhea Sharma being roped in to play the main leads.
Now, another actress to join the star cast is the hot and sexy Madhura Naik, who was last seen in Colors’ Naagin.
As per our sources, her character of Pallomi will be alike Meera Bai in the soap. However, she will have a little modern touch and later on her character will mostly turn negative.
Madhura confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com.
Other actors who will feature in the drama are Mayank Arora, Kabeer K, Swati Kapoor, Sadiya Siddiqui and from the earlier star cast Neelu Vaghela (Bhabho), Ashok Lokhande (Babasa) and Meenakshi (Kanika Maheshwari) have been retained.
Diya Aur Baati Hum 2 will launch by end of February or early March mostly at 9pmtimeslot.
