All the seasons of Nach Baliye have been a journey of sorts for the contestant couples. There have been a variety of experiences for the viewers and the contestants alike. Nach Baliye Season 8 has been testimony to an equal amount of issues and displays of affection.
Earlier on Shoaib Ibrahim, who gained fame from his role as Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka surprised the love of his life Dipika Kakar by proposing her for marriage on stage. Dipika was overwhelmed with tears brimming her eyes and all she could do is smile and say Yes!
And this time it was, Sanam Johar and Abigail Pande who made us fall in love over and over with their romantic dance performances and their mutual display of affection videos that have surfaced time and again. It was during the finale shoot of Nach Baliye 8 that Abigail sealed the deal by proposing to Sanam. She broke all stereotypes by going down on her knees for the man she loves.

Sanam was overwhelmed and so were the judges and the audiences alike. Abigail looked pretty confident and she couldn’t look happier as she cuddled her beau after sliding the ring through his finger. The audiences were cheering loud for the officially engaged couple when Sonakshi Sinha who is one of the judges of the reality dance show came up onstage and congratulated the couple.
We think: It takes a lot of courage to follow your heart and do something of this sort in front of the world. It surely was a brave display of love that ravaged stereotypes and set an example to emulate. Well done Abigail and congratulations to the both of you in your engagement.
