Sony TV’s Pehredaar Piya Ki (Shashi Sumeet Productions) is facing controversy due to its content where a 10-year old prince falls for a girl who is double her age.
Well, love surely knows no bounds. And age is surely no criteria for someone to fall in love and this is the stance that Sony TV's Pehredaar Piya Ki harps on.
This story has created quite a buzz in the industry and everyone is talking about it.The drama has Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, Afaan Jameel Khan (10 year boy) Suyyash Rai playing the leads.
Some are giving the serial a thumbs up while it surely didn't go down well with actor Karan Wahi.
He took to his official Facebook handle to make his view public. He blatantly stated, he finds content of the show stupid, to which Suyyash Rai, who is playing one of the crucial roles in the show, politely replied on his Instagram handle urging Karan not to be judgemental about the show and content.
In his retort he further asserted, they are not promoting child marriage. Karan and Suyyash share a thick bond and we have seen them together chilling out in parties and posing together at public appearances.Will this difference of opinion drive a wedge between the two friends? We will surely wait and watch.
