Mitali Nag of Afsar Bitiya knows to hit the right notes

Raakesh Paswan’s latest offering Afsar Bitiya on Zee TV is all set to hit the airwaves from 19 December 2011. The show’s female lead, Mitali Nag, is one petite and affable actress who is superbly talented. Mitali, who was earlier seen doing small roles in shows like Star One’s Mano Ya Na Mano, is not only effective before the camera but she can create magic with her voice as well. Yes, she is one superb singer in real life. In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Mitali divulged that before taking up acting she kept busy humming tunes. Furthermore, she also participated in Star One’s singing reality show Bol Baby Bol. In the show, she shared the stage and sang her heart out with Bollywood hunk Salman Khan. She is also part of a band called Three Musketeers Rani, which recently performed in Sony’s X Factor. “I have always been exposed to music in my life. My mom is a trained singer and we run a singing and dancing institute in Nagpur,” says Mitali. Kudos, Mitali!!! Versatility is the mark of a great professional.
