Deven Bhojani's puppy love lost

When a serial wraps up, those associated with it have special memories to take back home. While some actors swear by the masti they had on sets, others can’t help raving about their close friendship with co-stars and sadly, a few actors also witness the loss of a dear one on sets of a show. Actor Deven Bhojani, the protagonist in SAB TV's Mrs Tendulkar, has some bittersweet memories of this comedy series. When he spoke to Tellychakkar.com, he informed us that he found and lost something on the sets of this show which will go off air this week on 25 November 2011. The story goes like this…When this sitcom had completed shooting for a week; its team witnessed the birth of a stray pup and within a few days the pup became the life of the sets. The pup was christened Coco, owing to its chocolate brown hair color. But this unique name was finalized only after much hue and cry. “People initially suggested typical names like Tommy and Moti, but we wanted a unique name for him,” reveals Deven. As time passed by, the team got emotionally attached and always looked forward to spend some quality time with Coco. Just recently, this big family-like unit received a big blow. The news of Mrs Tendulkar going off air and Coco’s death came on the same day. “Though the whole unit was quite unhappy with the show’s fate, Coco’s death was immensely disheartening for us,” says the actor. The canine died due to snake bite. “We all were immensely attached to Coco,” informs an emotional Deven. Well Deven, just like you, we too have fond memories of Mrs Tendulkar. All we hope is that you find another Coco very soon and your audiences find another show to watch your humorous and brilliant performances on their TV sets. All the best!!!
