Chandragupta Maurya to be shot in Mumbai and Baroda

Imagine’s Chandragupta Maurya is one mythological show that has managed to impress TV viewers and critics alike. The show was being shot in Baroda, but the latest news is that the production house has decided to shift its shooting base to Mumbai. However, the cast and crew will go back to Baroda to shoot the indoor sequences as Dhanadanda’s palace (set) is still there. “The outdoor sequences will be shot it Mumbai. In the future, we are planning to shift here permanently. It will also be cost-effective as most of the people in the cast and crew hail from this city. So we don’t have to spend on accommodation. ” informs a source from the production house. Tellychakkar.com spoke to Ashish Sharma aka Chandragupta Maurya who sounded pretty happy to shoot in the maximum city. “It’s amazing to come back home. However, it is a little cold in here these days and since we are shooting in a jungle, we feel the pinch a bit more.” The actor further informed that they will shoot for another 10-15 days in Mumbai. “It’s nice to shoot here close to home but traffic is the problem in Mumbai. In Baroda, things were easier as our accommodation was close to the set. But it’s nice to be back,” ends Manish Wadhwa aka Chanakya.
