Colors’ Phulwa, which is loosely based on the life of deceased bandit Phoolan Devi, has not managed to gain the desired numbers for the channel. But the production house, Swastik Pictures, is leaving no stone unturned to make the show more interesting. TV viewers have already seen Phulwa (Sargun Mehta) –instead of Aarti (Nazea Sayed) – getting married to Abhay, and in the upcoming episodes Phulwa will meet her dead parents.
Phulwa’s parents Mangru (Sushil Bounthiyal) and Imarti (Nupur Alankar) had died leaving their little daughter all alone in this big bad world. They were brutally murdered by the Thakurs. But they will now get back in the show. How? Here’s the answer.
In a dream sequence, Phulwa will be shown sitting down on her bed in a room waiting for her husband Abhay (Ajay Chaudhary) during her suhaag raat. Abhay will enter but instead of talking nicely he will talk rudely and storm out of the room. Soon after that she will witness her dead parents walking towards her. They will stand under a dim light. She will ask them why innocent people have to suffer in this world. They will console Phulwa and assure her that she is the chosen one who can bring change in the society and ask her to be brave and fight against injustice. After that, her parents will disappear.
“Phulwa will then realize that she was dreaming. But she will not forget the words of her dead parents,” informs a credible source from the sets of Phulwa to Tellychakkar.com. After the dream, Phulwa will regain confidence and continue her fight against Thakurs.
We spoke to Sushil Bounthiyal who confirmed the sequence and said, “It was nice shooting once again with the same crew. Swastik Pictures is like a second home, so when they called me to shoot, I readily agreed.”
We also talked to Nupur Alankar who said, “I was surprised when they called me to shoot as I was already dead in the show. But then they clarified about the scene. I am happy to be a part of Phulwa again.”
Sushil and Nupur shot for the dream sequence yesterday, 27 November 2011. It will be aired in a day or two.
Hope the sequence will entertain the fans of Phulwa!!!
