I would like to travel with Deepika Padukone, says Diya Mukherjee

Kolkata: Diya Mukherjee is one of the pretty actresses of small screen of Bengal. She played the female lead in Tumi Ele Tai and was part of other TV shows like Taranath Tantrik, Ek Masher Golpo: Bhrantibilas and Crime Patrol. She was also seen in a small role in the film Cockpit.

Currently, Diya is portraying a pivotal role in Zee Bangla's family drama Seemarekha. The actress loves travelling so TellyChakkar caught up with her to know about her travel mantra. Read on-

Why do you travel?  

After working continuously for so long, one needs a change. And it’s not that only those who work for long needs a change. A refreshing holiday is a must for everyone. Also, it lets you experience something new.

Your dream destination?

For the time being, it’s Himachal and if I have to think bigger then it is Switzerland.

Best vacation till date?

Gangtok Yumthang trip... It wasn't a big one but we had lots of fun...

Hills, beaches or monuments?

Hills.

Road, air or train?

Road…but obviously depends on time and destination.

3 things must in your travel kit?

First aid kit, dry foods, camera and selfie stick.

Ever travelled alone or wish to?

Never ever! I don't like travelling alone because I believe happiness when shared, is doubled.  

Best season to travel?

February- March or September- October.

Your travel buddy?

My family members.

Never again destination?

Nothing as such...I haven’t experienced anything bad anywhere so far.

Deepika Padukone.
