Apurva Agnihotri to soak up the sun on his birthday in Goa

Apurva Agnihotri on his birthday – 2 December 2011 – has decided to get out of the busy bylanes of Mumbai city and chill out amidst breezy wind and whistling leaves in picturesque Goa. Yes, the smarty–who gained popularity in Sony’s Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin – is all kicked to spend some quality and cosy moments with his wife, Shilpa Agnihotri, and other close friends. In fact, it was Shilpa who planned the entire trip. “Goa is Apurva’s favourite holiday destination. So on his birthday this year, we decided to pack our bags and head to the land of beautiful beaches. We have reached today (1 December 2011) and will stay for the next two days,” says Shilpa. The exclusive pic above (from the trip) shows that Apurva and Shilpa are having a gala time with close friends Munisha Khatwani, Amit Sarin and others in a swimming pool. “We have hired a beautiful bungalow with a swimming pool. Basically, we want to relax and spend nice time with loved ones. We will go to the beaches and also shop a lot,” smiles Shilpa. But can a birthday be fun without surprises? Absolutely not. Amit – who is Apurva’s close friend – gave us the exclusive dope. “First of all, Apurva was surprised to see me in Goa. He didn’t know I was joining the party. Then I threw him into the pool. It was his second surprise. And for tonight, Shilpa and I have planned to take him on a hill top and cut the cake.
