MUMBAI: Zee TV’s new weekend show Superhits presents your favorite Zee TV stars in a never-before-seen avatar in a supernatural/ surreal adventure – taking your favorite characters into an altogether different world.
This weekend will feature Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se lead actors Sahil (played by Karan Jotwani) and Vedika (played by Suhasi Dhami) in a period drama – a royal romance, taking the viewers back in time.
The storyline will focus on Vedika’s stepmother, Rani Ma (played by Geeta Tyagi) who has evil intentions of killing her. However, Vedika meets her prince charming Sahil and instantly falls in love with him
But when Vedika confesses her love to Sahil, he rejects her proposal for the simple reason that she owns a larger kingdom and is older than him
However, after initial hiccups, Sahil and Vedika eventually get married, but their happiness is short-lived as Sahil is exposed to the harsh truth that Vedika is the one who killed his father
For the episode, actors Karan Jotwani and Suhasi Dhami will be seen undergoing a complete transformation and donning majestic traditional attires and a royal look
Sharing his experience, Karan Jotwani said, “For the weekend special episode, Sahil’s character has undergone a major overhaul in terms of look and attire. I had a great time shooting for this particular Superhit episode, playing a prince was something new and very different for me. The attire looks like that of a prince and he is a fighter at the same time and gives you that feel as well.”
What do you think of Suhasi Dhami?
Suhasi Dhami added, “I am playing a queen and the look is very aesthetic and royal. While shooting for the episode, I actually felt like a warrior princess and the entire experience was incredible. The show is definitely going to be a visual delight for the audience.”
