Drake confirms he has a son

Rapper Drake has confirmed on his new double album "Scorpion" that he fathered a child with former French adult-film star Sophie Brussaux.

The 31-year-old rapper confirmed the news in the album which was released just before midnight Thursday on Apple Music, reports people.com.

In his track "Emotionless", the Candian declares "I wasn't hiding my kid from the world. I was hiding the world from my kid."

"Breaking' news in my life I don't run to the blogs. The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call," he added.

Drake then seemingly addresses his relationship with his son's mother by referencing Michael Jackson's hit "Billie Jean" in the song "March 14".

"She's not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine/ Sandi used to tell me all it takes it one time, and all it took was one time/ S-, we only met two times, two times," he raps, referring to his mother Sandi Graham.

"I used to challenge my parents on every album/ now I'm embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent/ always promised the family unit/ I wanted it to be different because I've been through it."

On the track, Drake confirms his son was born October 11 and says he celebrated in Miami when the DNA test confirmed he was the little boy's father, reportspeople.com.

However, Drake also reveals while he rushed out and bought a crib for his son, he has only met the boy once at Christmas time.

Rumors regarding Drake's son re-emerged last month when Pusha T released a track called "The Story of Adidon," in which he alleged Drake had a secret love child he was keeping under wraps and refused to acknowledge.

"You are hiding a child; let that boy come home," Pusha raps on the track, claiming Drake is playing "border patrol."

Evan Rachel Wood was afraid to tell her sexual abuse story

Actress Evan Rachel Wood says she was afraid to tell her sexual abuse experience, but she pushed herself to open up about it.

Earlier this year, the actress shared her domestic violence and sexual abuse experience with the House Judiciary Committee as part of an effort to secure a bill of rights for sexual assault survivors in the US.

"Amanda Nguyen, who wrote the Bill contacted me, just as a fellow survivor, and reached out. She said, you know 'We have passed this on a federal level, but it still has to be implemented in all states, and we need to bring more awareness to it'," Wood said in a statement.

"She said: 'You have a platform and you also have a story, so will you come and say it in front of Congress?' And I was like, 'Well, I have really only told my story to about five people, I can count on one hand, so to go from that to everyone, to the world knowing, it was overwhelming.

"I don't know a world in which everyone knows this about me, and it was terrifying to think about what that would mean, and what people would think. But, the fact that I was so afraid to tell my story, and ashamed, just made me want to do it more, because I felt like that it was wrong, and I shouldn't feel like that, so I said yes," added the actress.

"We're excited - we have three meetings today," Lopez revealed. The caption in the video read, "Emme's first meeting."

I'm not a comedy actress: Alison Brie

Actress Alison Brie says she doesn't like being called a "comedy actress" as there is more to her career.

In an interview with a magazine, the 35-year-old said that she hates being pigeon-holed to one specific genre, reports femalefirst.co.uk

"If you need a headline, (this) would be the headline of my life: 'there's a lot more going on than people think'. The biggest misconception across the board is that I'm a comedy actress, and it drives me crazy," Brie said.

"Which is weird because I don’t want to begrudge that title in a way that implies I hate the genre? I don't. I love it! But, to me, there's more to me. There are untapped resources you guys don't even know about," she added.

The actress shot to fame for her role as Annie Edison in the comedy series "Community". She also starred in the drama series "Mad Men", and is currently seen in "Glow".

Exhibition celebrates Michael Jackson as the cultural inspirer

Global icon Michael Jackson on whom an exhibition, which opened Thursday in Londons National Portrait Gallery recreates the star singers influence on some of the leading names in contemporary art. "Michael Jackson: On The Wall" opened on the day his 89-year-old father Joe Jackson, died following a battle with cancer.

Joe, ironically, died two days after the death anniversary of his son, who died in 2009.

"Michael Jackson is one of the most influential cultural figures to come out of the 20th century and his legacy continues into the 21st century," the gallery said.

"His significance is widely acknowledged when it comes to music, music videos, dance, choreography and fashion, but "his considerable influence on contemporary art is an untold story".

From Andy Warhol and Isa Genzken to David Hammons and Glenn Ligon, Jackson has been an inspiration for an extraordinary array of leading artists.

"Michael Jackson: On the Wall" will bring together the works of over 40 of these artists, drawn from public and private collections around the world, including new works made especially for the exhibition.

It has been curated by Dr Nicholas Cullinan, Director of the National Portrait Gallery, and will conclude on August 29, on what would have been Michael Jackson's 60th birthday.

Bob Saget gets emotional remembering Robin Williams

Actor-comedian Bob Saget had a hard time fighting back tears as he emotionally reflected on the impact the late actor Robin Williams had on his life and his career.

During the Hollywood premiere of the new documentary, "Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind", on Wednesday, Saget opened up about his close friendship with Williams in an interview with etonline.com.

"Oh, you're killing me, you're killing me," Saget said as he began to get emotional while explaining how Williams' untimely death in 2014 left "a huge chasm in everybody's life".

"(He was) a whirlwind of energy a beautiful human being. (It was) a giant loss. Everybody felt it.

"In 1978, I moved to Los Angeles, went to the Comedy Store, met Robin right away, he had just finished with 'Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In' (and) it was before 'Mork and Mindy', and he just liked me and my act," Saget shared.

The "Full House" star also praised Williams for his generosity and dedication to helping others.

The 62-year-old comic continued to fight back tears as he admitted that it's still hard for him to refer to Williams in the past-tense, with words like "was", and looked back on one of his favourite memories.

"There's one time when I was in the Comedy Store in La Jolla (California), and he was there and I was feeling bummed out about my career and he said, 'Hey come in here'. And we went in the dressing room and we watched TV with the sound off and just made up words," Saget remembered.

"He liked funny people. He could tell when someone was talented and he wanted to know all about them and work them, figure them out. And he was beloved and he was special."

Humour will always be part of Ant-Man universe: Director

Director Peyton Reed says humour is a big part of the Ant-Man universe and will continue to be in all the movies coming out of the franchise.

After the success of the first movie, superhero Ant-Man will be back with "Ant-Man and the Wasp".

"Humour is a big part of the Ant-Man universe and will continue to be in 'Ant-Man and The Wasp'. It was fun to see 'Civil War' and see Scott Lang appear in that movie. The story's not about Scott Lang, so he can just make jokes and have fun," Reed said in a statement to IANS.

"Paul Rudd and I have talked a lot about how there was an onus on us in the first movie, particularly the first half of the movie, to set him up as an action hero. It was the first time Paul had really played a character like that, and, of course, he got into amazing shape. His performance is terrific but we needed him to be a little more subdued, a little more laconic in the first half of the movie.

"So, he is a bit more of a straight man in the first movie, particularly the first half. He still gets plenty of laughs in that movie but in this movie, now that we have done that heavy lifting, it is going to be every bit as funny and even more so," he added.

The movie is set between the events of "Captain America: Civil War" and "Avengers: Infinity War".

Rudd's Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne/The Wasp team up after Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) asks them to battle Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), who has the ability to be invisible and intangible. It is slated to release in India on July 13 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Reed says the film will introduce "some new faces".

"There are definitely going to be some new faces in 'Ant-Man and The Wasp' and faces that Marvel comics' fans will certainly recognise. They are faces that haven't been featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet.

"But that's one of the things that are really exciting to me, as it was to introduce Hank Pym in the first 'Ant-Man’ and also to place him retroactively into the MCU's history of S.H.I.E.L.D. It was really fun to take Michael Douglas and plop him firmly into the history of this universe."
