MUMBAI: TellyChakkar has always been at the forefront of reporting each development on Star Plus' Mariam Khan.
We broke the news that the daily is set to take a leap and that lead actors Avinash Mishra and Paras Kalnawat have decided to exit the show.

Now, Avinash has gone on record and confirmed quitting Mariam.
According to our sources, Avinash was signed up as a lead and wasn’t given adequate screen space and the promised tracks. He was barely seen in the show. Due to character dissatisfaction, he has chosen to move out of Mariam.
Avinash exclusively told TellyChakkar, 'Yes, I’m quitting Mariam and I’m really sad about it because I’m in love with my character of Zain, but since things are not going the way they were supposed to, I have decided to cut my ties with the show. I will wrap up my shoot by mid-September.'
