MUMBAI: Ever since Disha Vakani has gone a maternity leave, viewers are anxiously waiting for the actress to return in SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms).
Disha’s character of Dayaben gained immense popularity with the show. She and Dilip Joshi are known to be the ultimate jodi of television. Their unique chemistry brings a smile to everyone’s faces.
The actress is in a happy space. She has been blessed with a baby girl and is currently enjoying her motherhood.
However, viewers miss watching her in the show and the question of her comeback in Taarak Mehta is on their minds.
We got in touch with producer Asit Modi, who exclusively told us, ‘Daya has been an integral part of Taarak Mehta. Because of Disha’s maternity leave, we have to give her a break. Now, talks are on about bringing Daya’s character back in the show. Viewers can look forward to Daya’s character in two months.’
