Sudha Chandran, Darpan Shrivastava in Do saheliyan

After having proved her mettle in shows like Kahiin Kissi Roz, Kasturi, K-Street Pali Hill the talented Sudha Chandran will soon be seen in yet another challenging role. The actress has been offered an interesting role in the upcoming Zee show Do Saheliyan. And giving her company is yet another capable actor, Darpan Shrivastava. After playing the venomous Nageshwar Chacha in Bhagyavidhata, he was seen showcasing his comic timing in Sony Sab’s Lapataganj. And now we hear that Shrivastava has been singed on by producer Ratna Sinha for her forthcoming tentatively titled show Do saheliyan which was earlier titled Chauda phere. Shrivastava will play father to the poor guy whose character will be named as Anaadi. Informs a source, “The show will have two male leads Shaurya and Anaadi. Shrivastava will play a not so rich father to Anaadi. His character would have different shades to it. Actress Sunita Rao has been finalised to play Shrivastava’s wife. The shoot of the show will commence in the first week of January and it is expected to launch sometime in February. The two male leads and their respective families will be introduced in the later stages of the show. Veteran actress Sudha Chandran too has been finalised to play a pivotal role in the show and the actress is currently working on her dates as she is also doing Sahara One’s Mata ki chowki.” Both Chandran and Shrivastava refused to comment. We also sent a text message to producer Ratna Sinha but she didn’t revert. The other actors on the show are Sulagna Panigrahi Ankita Shrivastava, Ravi Gossain and Akshay Anand.
