Here is how your favourite celebrities are celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi

MUMBAI: Ganesh Utsav has begun with full swing, and a wave of devotion and love for god can be seen among the people. Television celebrities are no exceptions. They are also all set to welcome Bappa in their lives and are celebrating the festival at a grand scale.

TellyChakkar had an exclusive chat with a few of our favourite stars about their special preparations for Lord Ganesha. Here’s what they had to say!

Divyanka Tripathi

I believe he gives you what you want, but it’s the best time to celebrate Bappa’s presence in our lives.

Monica Khanna

Bappa brings a very big smile along with him, and like a small kid, I jump around the house and welcome Bappa with an open heart and open arms. He abolishes all the obstacles, leading me to a happier life.

Lizaa Malik

I was upset with Gannu Bappa last year for a few reasons, so I didn’t bring him home, but he made sure that I did his stapana at a friend's place. I had forgotten that he gives his best actor the toughest role. I'm blessed and happy today and thank the Elephant God for the luck and prosperity in our lives.

Deepshikha Nagpal

Ganesh Chaturthi is very important festival in my life. I always get Ganpati Bappa in my house. This is the 13th year, and I am keeping him for 5 days. I feel so excited. I don’t know about other cities, but in Mumbai, it’s like somebody is coming. A separate room is decorated for him. The 5 days are blissful for me. I don’t go anywhere. I prefer to sit at home and do seva of Ganpati Bappa. Bhajans always play in my house. It’s a very nice feeling. It feels like Bappa will come and he will take away all the negativity. I want to welcome him till the time I am alive that is all I want to say. Ganpati Bappa Morya!

Hrishitaa Bhatt

Ganesh Chaturthi is a very special day for me, as we celebrate the birthday of the Lord of Beginnings and the Lord that clears all obstacles. I am a strong believer and have been celebrating this day since childhood. I am born and brought up in Mumbai, and here, you get to see the spirit of this festival at its peak. The festivities, the specialties like modaks, gatherings, dance, the spirit of faith, etc., are celebrated by all.

We at TellyChakkar would like to wish everyone a happy Ganesh Chaturthi.
